There are a few investing strategies, but we’ll focus on only 3 of them. Swing trading, day trading, & the buy-and-hold strategy.
Swing Trading – This type of strategy is where investors make trades in days or up to a couple of weeks.
Day Trading – as the name implies, simply means, these investors trade pretty much every day. They see opportunities to get in and out of positions daily and they execute them.
Buy-And-Hold Trading – this type of strategy is commonly called “value-investing”. This is where an individual buys an asset for the long-term, typically a year or 5 – 10 years. This will depend upon the asset and the investors’ risk tolerance.
There is so much involved with personal finance but we will cover the basics here. The best way to get a handle on your personal finances is to keep things simple and automated.
Some people cringe when they hear the term “budget”. This is because they think it’s a lot of work and complicated, but it truly isn’t hard at all. You just simply must create a budget and stick with it.
Nowadays, there are so many software apps you can use for budgeting, it is very easy to do.
If you are like most people, budgets, and finance may seem like complicated subjects; however, we make it easier for you. Check out some of the software Apps listed below:
Digit analyzes your spending and automatically saves the perfect amount every day, so you don’t have to think about it.
Acorns is similar to Digit, but the money the App saves is also invested in a diversified portfolio of stocks and bonds.
Wealthsimple is what’s known as a “Robo-advisor” or “Automated Investing Platform”. They make sure you have a balanced portfolio of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). ETFs ensure that you’re invested across the entire stock market.
Betterment is a competitor to Wealthsimple and automatically invests your money in index funds. They’ll divide your funds between a collection of stocks and bonds based on your risk tolerance.
Personal finance and investing can be very exciting topics and easy to do if you use the automated options available.
